Day 154




Breakfast was half an apple and two tablespoons of pb yogurt dip.  Plus two glasses of water.  Total: 2 points

Lunch was two skinny tostadas (note: spell check thinks I'm trying to write asbestos, but I assure you I am not), four tootsie rolls, and three glasses of water.  Also, I'm counting the avocado as a healthy oil, since it's a healthy fat.  Total: 8 points
Not for lunch: asbestos.
Snack was a vanilla Greek yogurt with a cup of strawberries and another glass of water.  Total: 3 points
I ate this, but John Stamos did not appear.  Bummer.
Dinner was a bowl of my version of Chowning's Brunswick Stew (throw 4 cups chicken broth, a shredded chicken breast, a can of diced tomatoes, a half tablespoon of sugar, teaspoon of salt, half teaspoon of pepper plus potatoes, onions, corn and lima beans in a pot and simmer for 20ish minutes) and a cornbread muffin with a teaspoon of olive oil.  And a glass of water. Total: 11 points

Then I did 30 minutes of wii fit cardio and yoga.  Post-workout snack was a glass of milk.  Total: 2 points
That's right--I worked out twice in one day.

The Oscars, powered by onion dip

My hilarious friends Kelley and Christopher invited me over for the Oscars so that we could judge red carpet looks. Kelley is one of the few people in my life that makes me laugh without fail, and she blogs her adventures--and misadventures--over at The Lundscape .   Kelley warned me prior to coming over that they were more "Shame" than "Squad," so that's how we ended up with three types of dip.  This was fortuitous, though, because the dips sustained us through grueling hours of pausing and rewinding live coverage, swapping drink recipes  we learned on vacation, and discussing what award shows would be like on Middle Earth. Let's dive right in, shall we? Kelley : Janelle Monae's dress was sponsored by the Audubon society. Christopher:  This looks like "Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen meets Marie Antoinette."
