Important Food-Related Update: Halloween is coming up, and I need one of you to promise to make this costume for your child.  Let me know if you need paper towel tubes.  I will supply them. Breakfast was salmon and cream cheese on pumpernickel toast.  Because who doesn't love some smoked fish for breakfast?  Snack was a homemade latte. Lunch was leftover brisket (thanks, Hot Jewish Lawyer!), mashed sweet potato, half an apple, cucumber and grape tomatoes, and a Ghiradelli chocolate square.  Snack was a banana. Dinner was healthy-ish nachos, made of 20 tortilla chips, bean dip, cheddar cheese, and jalapenos with a side of carrots. I'm still on a physical therapy exercise regimen due to an injury, which my trainer and I describe as "Senior Citizen Workouts."  There's lots of stability balls involved.  Also, I decided that since I'll be writing about her a lot, trainer needs a blog name.  Her favorite animal is elephants, and sometimes she makes

I've talked to a several of you delightful people lately who have asked "where is the Shame Squad?  It inspired me to eat healthy/exercise/keep up with the British monarchy."  Okay, that last 'benefit' is probably more of a side effect.  It's really nice to feel like my writing makes a positive contribution to your life, so thank you!  It also takes me longer than you would suspect to write a post, and I've prioritized other things this year.  Although, I have written about 100 blog posts in my mind, so I need someone to invent a 'think-to-text' app.  C'mon, engineers! Let's catch up on food, exercise, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Johnny Weir, shall we? We KNOW.  Also, I want that clutch.  And I love those sleeves.  I bet the wine is really good too.
