Day 161 & 162

Weigh in day, and I lost 2.2 pounds, with 11.4 to go.  We're getting close to the single digits, here, people! Also, Queen Beatrix announced that she's abdicating (that's just how the Dutch roll--I bet Prince Charles is jealous).  So we'll miss her and her crazy ass hats. BUT!  That means that means that Princess Maxima will be Queen, and she loves to wear ALL the tiaras!!! But you came here for the food, and not the tiaras (or did you?!). Monday breakfast was four sausage balls and two glasses of water. Total: 3 points Lunch was a salad with tomatoes and olive oil, a vanilla greek yogurt, a banana, two tablespoons of chocolate chips, and two glasses of water.  Snack was a tangerine.   Total: 6 points Dinner was skinny mushroom stroganoff , bread, olive oil, a glass of water, and a glass of milk.   Total: 14 Mmmm....shrooms. Day 159

Yesterday was free lunch and free dinner (thanks, parents!), a nap, exercise, and watching tv.  Yay! Late breakfast was with Chris' dad at Eggspectation .  I had a hard boiled egg, two slices of Canadian bacon, a cup of potatoes, a cup of tomatoes, a half slice of wheat toast, a teaspoon of jelly, a few bites of fruit, and two glasses of water.   Total: 11 points Today's fine art in blogging is by Mary Maxam , who paints Northwest landscapes, florals, as figures. Exercise was 15 minutes of wii fit yoga, then 20 minutes of EA Active 2, and three glasses of water. I totally look like this.  (In that I have the same shoes and pony tail.) Early dinner was with my mom and dad at Rangoli .  I had a few bites of chicken 65 (think Indian chicken nuggets) then my usual channa masala, white rice, raita, and roti.  I also had a glass of wine and three glasses of water.  And then we finished it off with delicious homemade vanilla mango ice cream.  Totally worth using some weekl

Day 155

Weigh in day and I lost 1.2 pounds, with 13.6 to go! "I'm so proud!" Before we get to yesterday's eating excitement, a couple of my fabulous readers have asked where I get my recipes.  I have listed my favorite (and not-so-favorite) sites below. Skinnytaste - www.skinnytaste.com Spinach Lasagna Rolls -good for freezing.  Use canned sauce if you're in a hurry.  Be sure to salt/pepper the cheese mixture well. Corn Salsa with Lime -great as a salsa (duh) and really good as a topping for chicken or fish. Pumpkin Cupcakes -without the frosting, they're muffins!  And they're delicious! Tasty! Emily Bites - www.emilybites.com 15 Minute Stacked Tostadas -So good and easy!  I made them twice this week. Mac & Cheese Muffins -They freeze really well and are good portion control. Muffiny! Eating Well - www.eatingwell.com Easy Fiesta Beans -I don't even bake them or use the cheese and they're delicious Tabbouleh -for the Lebanese
