Day 140

Weigh in day, and I lost .8 of a pound, with 17.2 pounds to go!  Even though it wasn't quite a full pound, considering all of the many holiday celebrations plus my calf injury, I'll take it!

So on to Tuesday.  Breakfast was a cup of rice chex with a half cup of milk.  Total: 4 points

Lunch was a huge apple, a tablespoon of light peanut butter, chips (12) & salsa, a glass and a half of milk, and two glasses of water.  Total: 9 points
I like to artfully arrange my multicolored apple slices, and put my peanut butter in a ramekin.
Exercise was 22 minutes of wii fit, again focusing only on upper body and core, with a few yoga poses.
I like the yoga poses that involve lying on the floor.
Dinner was belated Christmas with my parents.  I had a cup of Brunswick Stew (see why I made it last week?  My mom had mentioned it), a glass of water, and I held myself to only one mini cheesecake.  Total: 9 points
Only one!  Such restraint!
The calf update is that it feels much better today.  I'm gonna guess that it has something to do with the muscle relaxers.

Second dinner was a salad with a teaspoon of olive oil and a half slice of wheat bread with a teaspoon of olive oil.  I will get my healthy oil in, dammit!  Total: 4 points

The Oscars, powered by onion dip

My hilarious friends Kelley and Christopher invited me over for the Oscars so that we could judge red carpet looks. Kelley is one of the few people in my life that makes me laugh without fail, and she blogs her adventures--and misadventures--over at The Lundscape .   Kelley warned me prior to coming over that they were more "Shame" than "Squad," so that's how we ended up with three types of dip.  This was fortuitous, though, because the dips sustained us through grueling hours of pausing and rewinding live coverage, swapping drink recipes  we learned on vacation, and discussing what award shows would be like on Middle Earth.
