Saturday started with a trip to the Farmer's Market, where we stocked up on our favorites: meat from Lothar, chips and salsa from Betty, and tomatoes from Curt at Shade Horticulture.
Then we headed over to Magnolia's for lunch. Of course I had some (lots) of their foccacia bread (secret ingredient: crack) and two teaspoons of olive oil. Then a bowl of tomato soup and a salad with cheese, dates, and pecans. Plus four bites of Chris' hamburger. I also drank two glasses of water and a glass of wine. Total: 21 points And that, my friends, is how you turn a soup and salad lunch into a calorie-fest.
Then we went on a two mile walk. To the liquor store. Classy! We wanted to pick up some Catoctin Creek Gin, which is made in Loudoun. I also drank three cups of water during our walk. And didn't drink any of the gin.
Dinner was grilled chicken with a side of corn and tomatoes and three cups of water. Total: 5 points
And then, because there were lots of weekly points left, I went on a chips and salsa binge. Total: lots of points
