Friday was.....ugh.
I started working from home at 7 a.m., and didn't stop until after 5 p.m. with no breaks. Like, I was still in my pajamas. During phone meetings, I managed to eat six sausage balls, two clementines, and a tiny piece of bread with olive oil. Plus two glasses of water. Total: 7 points
We had steaks marinated for dinner, but I wanted out of the house SO BAD, so we went to The V because it's delicious, and because I had a Groupon. That's when the ahi tuna nachos, bread and butter, Savannah shrimp in cream sauce, key lime pie, and lotsa wine happened. (With a little water.) Total: I dunno? Like 30?

Bottom line: I need to set better boundaries with my beloved employer, because they certainly don't care if I work myself into a pajama-clad, carpal tunnel, astigmatism stupor.
Yesterday I attended an hour long meeting, and the first half hour was devoted to what we should call our training materials. Job Aid? Process Document? Stakeholder Guidance? Quick Reference? Cheat Sheet? |
