Breakfast was blueberries--lots and lots of them. (Okay, it was a cup and a half.) The blueberries this year have been delicious. I have eaten so many that I might turn in to Violet Beauregard, minus the Oompa Loompas. I also had 2 glasses of water. Total: 0 points
Lunch was a beet salad, featuring beets that I had roasted all by myself! (I'm overly excited about my ability to clean beets, wrap them in foil, and stick them in the oven.) My salad also had an ounce and a half of goat cheese, 2 teaspoons lemon olive oil, and 2 cups of lettuce. I also had a side of 1 cup of watermelon. Dessert was a tablespoon of chocolate chips. I drank 4 glasses of water. Total: 7 points.
Then I went to yoga, where we did many things, including Legs up the Wall, which is awesome. Try it if you are stressed--just hang out there for 5 minutes or so. All you need are legs...and a wall. You can also spread your legs in a v for a pretty intense stretch, or put your feet on the wall (bend your knees), then slide your feet/knees to one side until your legs are on the floor, and turn your head to the opposite side. It is, as my yoga teacher would say "a delicious twist." I also went for a 15 minute walk.
For dinner, Chris grilled a rack of ribs from Lothar. I carefully measured out 3 ounces of ribby goodness, and also had a baked potato with a quarter cup of fat free sour cream, 2 tablespoons of bacon bits, and a whole lotta chives. Mmmmm, meat and potatoes. Also, two glasses of water. Total: 16 points
Snack was 5 whole wheat crackers and one slice of reduced fat cheese. Total: 3 points.

I would like to think my beets came from Schrute Farms. |
