Are seasonal allergies kicking anyone else's ass too?
I'm finding it hard to drink water right now because everything tastes snotty (mmmm, delicious)! But I am trying. Breakfast was three itty bitty clementines, 6 whole wheat saltines, and a slice of cheese (Andrew--protein)! Lunch was a whole wheat wrap with veggies, hummus, and turkey, and a side of fruit. Dessert was a cupcake from Amazing Coworker Shelly, who very nicely brought me ONE cupcake because she knows that I cannot help myself.
Usually Friday night is date night dinner, but we were both allergy-riffic and tired, so we got Rangoli to go. We started out with veggie samosas, which aren't healthy, but which are delicious. The lamb biryani was very good, and so was the channa masala. If you're a little scared of Indian food, I'd suggest starting with a biryani (there are chicken and veggie varieties too). It's kind of like Indian Rice-A-Roni.
Dessert was one of Chris' blackberry and lemon cupcakes. Exercise was a 20 minute walk with Chris. No celebrity appearances, because yesterday needed more healthy oils, veggies, and dairy. :(
Today I'm thankful for wine. It's good for your heart! And I have a lovely bottle of Chardonnay that I picked up yesterday and need to drink.
