November 20th

For breakfast and lunch, we had brunch.  Specifically, we went to Matchbox in One Loudoun.  I had a mimosa made with tequila (I regret nothing) and Eggs Benedict with a salad and side of potatoes. Brunch without mimosas is just a sad, late breakfast. Nom nom nom nom nom. Then we went to see Fantastic Beasts at The Alamo.  I was super excited because they had a special menu item for the film: treacle tart.  Which they were out of.  Laaaaaaaaaaame.  Anyway, the movie (and there are no spoilers here) was pretty good.  Not as good as the Harry Potter movies, but since there are more to come, I'm sure they'll become more interesting.  (Just like how Sorcerer's Stone was kind of 'okay, here's the beginning of the story' and then they got darker and more basilisk-y.) I liked the niffler because it liked tiaras. For exercise I did 90 minutes of yoga.  It was a yin class, and we held some of the poses for 3 minutes.  Now I feel like...

Before we get in to what I ate, we need to discuss the fact that I found Jesus.  He's in Delaware at an LGBT-friendly thrift store, and he's only $18!  I seriously regret not buying this--Rehoboth Jesus is the Best Jesus. ANYWAY, I had dinner with two friends last night, and Chris and I went with them to Rehoboth this summer, so I thought I'd share the (totally random and hilarious) pictures from the trip. Sunset over the Bay Bridge. Not pictured: All the traffic.  So much traffic. Dogfish Head Ale House has a tasting room with awesome art... ...and free beer! I call this "if Chris was from New Jersey." No offense to New Jersey. Now that we are fine connoisseurs of fish and chips, I can say that these were delicious, and very close to what we had in the UK.      This would make an excellent holiday gift for a homophobic relative. Not optional: donation in their honor to PFLAG. I mean, nothin' says lovin' like a Spar...

I had to get up an hour earlier than usual to take Chris to the airport, so that meant that breakfast was a latte and an apple. I really need to start cross stitching again. I used my lunch to work out, and Elephant Trainer (remember she's named that because she loves them, and I'm as graceful as one) and I worked out for about a forty minutes.  Get this: I did planks with elbow touches without: complaining stopping doing them wrong Will wonders never cease? We did non-elbow-plank-touch things as well (like wood choppers, so many wood choppers) and then I biked for 15 minutes at one level higher than usual. No, no, no.  Not that kind of wood chopper. Although that one isn't so bad.  Heeeeey there. Lunch was homemade Skinny Mac and Cheese from this Pampered Chef recipe , except I make it easy on myself by using the $1 bag of cauliflower, a garlic press, and a bag of shredded cheese, because Ain't Nobody Got Time for That.  I also had some pretent...
